In addition to the featured exhibits listed below, there are also special presentations for the entire family including "Artpalooza" (a wacky art workshop for the kids), visits from "Smokey Bear", and "Wet & Wild Wednesdays" (natural science days presented by the Denver Museum of Nature & Science).
Exhibits include: * "Professor Quackenbush's Workshop"- an interactive zone filled with building and construction themed activities * "The Computer Zone" * “Banana Jones' Jungle Science Lab"- with biological and scientific gadgets galore * "J. B. Tucker Showman's Theatre"- a working theatrical stage filled with costumes and props for the kids.
CHILDREN'S THEATER WORKSHOPS: These fun filled 4-day workshops, directed by Brian Hall, include instruction in all areas of theatrical production and creative dramatics. Kids explore their creativity, voice & projection, create characters, animate their bodies, learn about theatre, build a show from scratch, and most importantly – have fun!
All participants star in a live performance with members of the Beaver Creek Children’s Theatre Company on the last day! Recommended for children ages 5 through 12 years old. Reservations are required. All kids receive a daily snack & juice, a Beaver Creek Children’s Theatre t-shirt and a certificate of achievement with a cast photo. Each session is a different theme and show, so kids can come back for more fun each time.
